Mistapes Records releases "Inopia" by Sam Hansell
Following the cancellation of a collaborative opportunity originally organized by Dr Robert Toft, students Aiden Wiebe and Emmanuella Stratas create Mistapes, a record label structured as a music industry club at the University of Western Ontario. Mistapes partners Aiden Wiebe with Sam Hansell, which results in “Inopia”, Sam Hansell’s solo debut LP. Sitting at 49 minutes and featuring instrumental performances from a dozen students from their university’s faculty of music, “Inopia” just released with a sold-out show at The Poacher’s Arms last night. By this morning, the merch booth has been emptied. Welcome to London, Sam Hansell. 50 CDs sold to a brand new audience.
